How many people actually enjoy home made youtube videos?

Fair enough there are different types but I'm specifically talking about the ones where people rant on about their own opinions. These people, in my experience, tend to be loud Americans (serious generalisation but I don't feel it's not without foundation). I do understand that, the internet, is for anyone to use, in any way they wish. That's the beauty of the internet. I do however find people who over rant, on sites such as youtube, may have no life. I do understand people like logging stuff etc, but really, does this stuff not annoy you on youtube? There is being productive with your time and thoughts and then there's just you being silly and ranting on about the blandest of subjects, with your ugly head, just to justify your youtube channel. Am I being cruel or does anyone see my point?

I used to back when the site was a year or 2 old...... But it's so polluted with dross now that it isn't even "hit & miss" for something decent anymore, it's "miss & miss & miss & hit & miss & miss & miss & miss & miss & hit"
I stick to music and comedy clips now. (Pro ones)

the new utube image is users trying to sell a concept or video to make money if you get enough of hits fast you will be offered money for advertising,ie charlie bit mt finger a simple video two children made the parents a fortune.

Whilst there are a lot of ego's on Youtube, and a ton of crap, there are some genuinely talented people there too.

Check out these three clips as a great example of a talented guy putting in a huge amount of effort to make good clips.

People are strange though!! I have a video up on youtube of me singing in a competition, not coz i wanted any1 2 see it really, just so that I'll always have a copy of it. I didnt promote it or anything, because I'm not that good. Or good at all haha.

Anyways, it now has hits from Ireland, UK, Sweden, Thailand and Japan!! Strange!!!

There are some talented people on youtube but they're outnumbered 100-1 by attention seeking idiots!!!

I actually am subscribed to quite a lot of youtubbers myself, don't know why they click with me when it seems that so many people here seem to hate a lot of those people with a passion! :rolleyes:

I suppose even if one of the big youtubbers happened to be irish, people would still complain, people seem to like complaining about stuff that is big and well known and makes a lot of money.

I have made a few vids myself but what I hate and despise with a passion are the people who trick you into viewing their video.

Take for instance the Kayne West MTV thing.

The next days I search what must have been forty videos looking for that as every cnut on YouTube had faked a video and titled it to look like the real thing.

Then when you click on it, some fat bastard with baseball cap says:

"Yo, yeah .. this ain't the Kayne vid but I just wanna say that.."

Who gives a fcuk what you wanna say you SAD LOSERS!! :rolleyes:
