Most netbooks have a single core Atom and low-res (1024x600) 10" screen. It wouldn't be great for Autocad.

If you can afford something a little big bigger, I would get maybe an 11.6" ultra-portable rather than a regular netbook. For example the Acer Aspire 1810TZ. Link

Or perhaps one of the high-end 12" netbooks with dualcore atom. For example the Asus 1201N Link

Dont touch Samsung with a barge pole.

    I have one ATM. (Nc140)

Greatest loadof boll ^ix if something serious goes wrong.

They do NOT come with a proper system restore disk.

In otherwords if your new Samsung netbook picks up a core virus, you are expected to pay extra to get the proplem sorted out.

My old Asus EEEPc 109 / 1000 came with a system disk that re installed the complete registered windows XP operating system incorporated in the disk that was supplied.

Despite autocad being processor intensive, so netbooks wouldn't be a good choice anyway, the biggest problem with your plan is the screen size. For the laugh i installed a copy of autocad on my netbook (10"), and it was ridiculous trying to use it for anything! Seriously, you need at very least a 13" high res screen for it. And i would say a bigger screen would be better.
