Back up holiday needed somewhere without ash!

    Hi all,
    So myself, my partner and his 6 yr old son are due to go on a week holiday in marbella next week... but its looking a little doubtful now due to the ash :-(
    We're trying to think of a plan b, any suggestions??

    I dont mean to state the obvious, but what about Ireland?

    Also you get a ferry to Normandy and there will be a plethora of very good campsites there.
    check out here.
    We've used these guys in the past and they are quite good.

    yea we thought about ireland but accommodation is so expensive to pay to stay just a few hours away from home.

    What about Scotland? You could take the Belfast-Stranraer ferry over, and then possibly go somewhere like Edinburgh, which is a beautiful city.
