Hi, there's a couple of threads recently on the same topic:

Basically, you have to build up the muscles and get your bodyfat below 10% or so. Weights followed by high intensity interval training (search for HIIT) burn the most fat, also take a look at your diet.

Have you had a reading of your bodyfat % done?

Ya i had my body fat tested a while back, must get it done again...

HIIT sounds like a good idea alrite.... I can see how it would help...

And cheers for posting those other treads... Some good tips there!

It's all what you eat. You are what you eat. Muscles burn fat.

Having said that, I'm only an amateur with my own "six fat" issues. :D

I have found, The closer you get to it, the less you want to be there.
I feel so skinny now with a 4pack and im considering starting to eat again.

Could be that Partly due to the fact that i went from 87kgs to about 68 in a year or so.

Long and short of it is, you will need to eat less food...

Yea im not liking the fact i've gone from 90kg to 86kg in a week on HIIT and weights.

    :/

There has to be a way to build muscle while keeping the fat at bay.

Would HIIT + Heavy weights in conjuntion with a bulk diet not make tha possible?

Been thinking about this the last week or so

Would probably be possible to get some musle growth and keep the bodyfat % relatively stable, doing both at the same time is basically the holy grail...

Can you still get a six pack while using creatine? I'm trying to put on all round bulk (especially on the legs) but I would still like to keep a flat stomach.

I just got mine done in my gym while they were doing a program up for me.... Get it reviewed every month or so now...

Anyone have any tips on the best foods to eat for cutting body fat - This seems to be the key to getting the six pack showing...

    Clean up your diet OP.
Avoid rubbish like white rice, pasta, white bread and refined sugar.
    Stop doing sit-ups and squat!

Abs are easy, developing a MASSIVE BACK is where it's at!! :D

    Total tripe!
Brad Pitt's body-fat when he filmed Fight Club was at 5pc: not only unsustainable, for Brad or anyone else, but unhealthy, verging on the dangerous.
Guess I'm really living life on the edge so. Give me a break!

Great article, he could have written it in a few lines!

'Time to try to get a 6 pack.
Start with two weeks of zero effort
    Didn't stick to diet.
Didn't train as hard as could have.
    Didn't want one anyway.
    Nobody likes 6 packs.
    6 packs are stupid.'

Where did he gets his figures. Males have a limit of about 2-5% for essentially body fat. So 5% is perfectly healthy, for anyone.

8 small balanced meals a day. 100% clean 24/7. Total protein and carbs to depend on your lifestyle - needs to be tailored. No fast cardio. Sure you want to do that?. Possible but not easy.
Thought the original question was to lose fat not keep it stable?
