claimeing bax tax ?

    hi guys



    i have been unemployed for a while . but my previous employer was paying my prsi n tax . i got my p45 n p60 .i was told i can claim back the tax . how do i know if i can and how do i do it ?

    Just ring up the tax office with your social security number. Be warned though, you may end up oweing them money, it does happen.

    I did it a few weeks ago, got the form online revenue website, filled it in, posted it off, took about 4 or 5 weeks for cheque to arrive,

    Yup, should have 7 numbers followed by a letter, if all prsi/pps numbers follow the same format.
