Part Time Web Business Set Up

    Hi All

Im setting up a website to run part-time with a friend selling t-shirts online, the good folk at boards helped me out with web design aspect, but now I have a few q's on the physical and legal aspect.

Firstly, we are going to run the business from a private residence (a shed out the back garden ;)) I believe to do this we need to get the okay from the local planning authorities, in people's experience is this difficult to do? Is there anything more to it?

Secondly, we are setting up as a partnership and have the TR-1 forms to do so, but Im not sure how or if this will affect our taxation as we both work in full time jobs for employers. Would this have an effect on our current personal tax or is it treated seperately?

Any help would be much appreciated, as well as pointing out any other legal/tax aspect that I havent thought about yet!!
