    Hi all.

I'm thinking of selling my Altezza but have no idea how much I will realistically get for it. I had a look at other ones on carzone but the prices there range from stupidly low to ridiculously high.

It's a 1999 Yamaha Beams, silver, 65000 miles, good condition, NCT till mid 2011.

    Any ideas?

Your not going to like to hear it, but Altezza's have really dropped in value.

You'd be doing very well to get over 5k for it.

The ones on done deal range from about 5500 to about 11000.
Thing is, theres loads there at just on 5500 and they havent sold, so they arent even making that money in reality.

I feel your pain, i just lost a fortune on an evo 6.

Its disgusting, but just look at the amount of them for sale, most for a fair amount of time. Markets flooded plus people cant afford to drive something like that.

I only got 6k for a low milage evo 6 last month.

That's shocking. I'm not looking forward to trying to sell mine. I was gonna sell it to get extra cash going over to Australia. But I might just leave it here and go over with the cash I have instead.

That is exactly what I was doing. Heading to oz. Was thinking about keeping it, but whats the point in the long run? It'll probably be worth even less when you get back.
At least when its sold it wont cost you another penny.

As above, just sell it cheap, take the hit as everybody selling a car has had to do and get the extra money for the trip to Oz.

When you come back it could be worthless

the market for saloons is f*cked at the moment, because of the 9 year taxi rule the price of 02 or older saloons has dropped, previously where taxi drivers would have bought 5 series, is200's , camrys, accords etc... now theyre not buing them, that and the cost of fuel and tax leaves a lot of great deals for buyers but a huge drop in value for sellers, bar it has 2 years NCT and 8-12 months of tax left on it therell be little hope of shifting it, the lads who would have shelled out on the altezza can now afford the likes of a 530 or a gs300 which is a lot more car for the money
