    hi all,

I am going to have a good crack of making my own homemade heat pump, i have a background in refrigeration. my question is has anyone gone down this road or does any one have advice. The house is 250 sq meters 1.5 story dormer with ufh on both floor, both floor pre-cast slab. Any help would be great, on sizing, controls. I was also hoping to fit a hot water coil in the evaporator fed from a solar panel on the roof to use as a boost in winter if temp was very low. Once again any help would be great. Many thanks.:D

There is a fridge engineer forum where you might be better pointing this at, there are a few people who've done their own. PM me if you want details.
