Repeat Jobseekers Claim Waiting Period?

Hi lads, I was on jobseekers allowance for nearly 6 months after losing my job, I have had work for the last few months but that has now dried up. I am just wondering if I now will be waiting the same length of time for my repeat claim as I was for my first claim even though they already have my information? Cheers

As it's less than 2 years since your previous claim, this time it will be a repeat claim. You can download the repeat claim form here, complete it, get the necessary documentation together including your P45 and take all to the SW office. All going well, it should be processed fairly quickly.

Similar situation...went in last tuesday and filled out a repeat claim form. Got a letter this morning sayin I had been approved and my first payment will be in the post office tomorrow and then every tuesday from then on.
