    Hi

Just wondering if someone can help me? im moving back to my home house in 2months time. currently we have sky plus in our own house at the moment and in my dads house theres a normal sky box. are the connections to the boxes the same? could I bring the sky plus box with me and would it still work, that way I would only have to cancel my dads one and I could just change the address on our sky plus box. its just handy to have the sky plus box for recording!

    Thank you in advance!!:)

Yes, the connections are the same.

A sky+ box needs two feeds from the dish to work properly. If your dad has a standard reciever than he more than likely has only the one feed installed. The lnb attached to the dish might also havve to be changed.(ie: one with two or more inputs)

Don't think you have to change the address for it to work, thats for billing purposes I think, but not sure.
