Gazans are slowly but surely cutting through Egypt's new impregnable steel barrier that was laid down at a debt of almost 60ft on the Rafha border.

The so called impregnable wall that has cost millions to build and is supposingly made of bomb-proof, super-strength steel can be burnt through with a set of oxy bottles. .

This news will be embarrassing for Egypt's government (And I guess those that sponsored it). :D

Fair play for their initiative, these guys need their essential supplies, idiots that designed it should have known the capabilities of a mini oxy pack.

Hopefully the egyptians will have sensors implanted so they can tell where the tunnels are being dug so they can shoot the buggers as they come out.

Well, if you read the article the ends of the tunnels aren't well hidden and the Egyptians and Israelis leave them be mostly.

People, myself included, complain about this country all the time, but f'uck me we are blessed compared to some others. The way some people are treated is nothing short of disgusting

Well, neccesity is the mother of invention as they say. Can't blame people using desperate measures for survival. Fair play to them, getting through a barrier, that costs millions to build.

So to say it's impregnable is a bit of an oxybore-on, in this instance.

They could do with salvaging as much of this reinforced steel from the fence as possible to help bolster their properties against future invasions. Plasma cutters would go through this stuff like butter, they would need quite a bit of power over a long distance though.

You mean it's not just the horrible Israelis who are blockading Gaza?!

Why weren't we informed of this?!

Let's march on the Egyptian embassy to protest!

    Anyone?

    No?

    Thought not...

Gets back to his boycott of Israeli goods.

Well, you see, both Israel and Egypt have the right to close of there borders. Every country has this right. Now, the difference between Israel and Egypt, is that Israel is blocking Gaza's access to there own sea order and there air space, which they have no right to do. Of course, when we look at the facts, it is easy to see why Israel is being held responsible for the blockade, as what there doing is illegal under International law, where as what Egypt is doing, which is pretty crappy, isn't illegal to the best of my knowledge.

Now Egypt are not enitirely innocent or anything, but with Israel blocking of Gaza's air space, and sea access, this mean under international law there still the occupier, and as such repsonsible for the siege.
