Changes to BIK?

Hi guys, Just a quick question really - Has the BIK system changed recently? This is all I can find which relates to it, which states that it only applies to cars registered after 1st Jan 2009. http://www.finfacts.ie/taxfacts.htm#benefit Did it come into effect? Thanks

I'm still not 100% sure, but one of my customers who is well up on these things has started noting the CO2 from the start of this year so I guess it's now in place.

Easiest thing to do is stick to a car with less than 156g/KM and it makes no difference then.
