Booking a lastminute flight that they cannot sell but paying a "late booking fee" :mad:

Not all their previous locations are reopening anyway so its not quite what it is claimed to be.

Same name ....but different company, I would say! My happiest memory of the "original" Budget Travel was in early June 2008, when browsing their site, I came across a 4* hotel in Sharm el Sheilk, Egypt. The total came to 211 euro.That included morning flight, transfer to hotel and B&B for 7 nights, credit card charge etc. Even had about 10 days to prepare before actual flight itself.

Oh! for those great offers again....or am I just missing out on the current bargains!

was in crete in 2007 booked with budget

they sent me only the outbound flight ticket, not the return one and when we turned up at the airport to fly home we were greeted by these horrible horrible middle aged swamp money (i think it was a female) but she had disgusting features and was really smelly, anyway i could live with that as all i wanted was my boarding card to get on the plane, but she insisted that i did receive them (which i didnt) and we would have to pay 90 euro (between the three of us) to receive a new boarding card (which she wrote with a bic pen on a piece of paper after much debate

she had the most horrible attitude ive ever exeprienced, and was definitely one of the rudest most disgusting yokes ive ever had the displeasure of meeting.

apart from that budget travel were, errr, OK cos they were cheap. thats about it.
