    Hi Jenny,

Nothing can pick you up better than getting pampered in the hair & beauty salon :D

There was a post recently about personal shoppers you could go into Arnotts and get it done they try out different looks to suit your shape and there is no charge for it.

In most hair & beauty salons they be more than happy to give you a new look. I always book a consultation first before getting any dramatic new hairstyle because you dont want to be sitting in the chair and just give them free range.

Not sure about places that do the whole Makeover in one place. You could always apply to Off The Rails :D

I agree that a make-over is perfect for reinventing yourself after a breakup.
As the saying goes: show him what he's missing!
A new hair cut would be a good idea- if you've had long hair for most of your life, try cutting it short or trying something radically different to the norm.
okay there's a 50/50 chance of ending up with a look that's utterly fubar but the only difference between a good cut and a bad one is a month.

As for make-up, try hovering around Clerys or Brown Thomas' makeup counters. You have to pay for most make-overs but sometimes they offer freebie consultations that might be of use to you.

I think that's a wonderful idea. You should go to a nice salon and get your hair cut
in a style you love. Also you could meet with a make up artist and discuss what
make up suits you. Try different clothing stores and bring a friend there are some
lovely feminine clothes available now. The fashion and appearance forum is always
good if you need advice on anything like that. Good Luck!
