A hefty line up for the Twisted Pepper on May 7th with not one, not two, but three international guests flying in for what should be a bumper night of broken beats and heavy bass. Reading based Benny Page will be playing in The Stage with the Breakology crew on the night, while James Blake and Shortstuff will be down in the Basement with Wobble...
Benny's ascent to Drum and Bass stardom has been meteoric by anyone's standards. Having got his first major radio play on BBC by the late and great John Peel, and being signed to Shy FX's Digital Soundboy label, he set the standard that he keeps delivering by.

Wobble guest Shortstuff lives in a room in Hertfordshire, where he sits making an infectious mix of house, garage, funky and bass sounds on his own or sometimes with Brackles. While James Blake's first single and subsequent remixes for Untolds's Hemlock Recordings whipped the critics into a frenzy and established him as the new kid on the block. 2010 looks set to be his year as he solidifies his arrival with a string of key releases and worldwide shows.

Support for Benny Page upstairs comes from DJ OBese and DJ Fenster, while downstairs Richie !K, Don Rosco and Safetyboy will be on warm up duties.

Tickets costing €10 are available from the bodytonic store here: http://www.bodytonicmusic.com/store/ people attending Beardyman on the same night can get in for a measly €5 with their ticket stub.
