Hi I'm wondering if anybody has any info on teaching in the USA. I'm Irish and currently studying for a PGCE in the UK. I'll be completing my NQT year next year and hope to get a few more years teaching in the UK and in a few years time teach in the USA, probably in middle school. How realistic is it that I'd get a job…

Hi I'm wondering if anybody has any info on teaching in the USA.

I'm Irish and currently studying for a PGCE in the UK. I'll be completing my NQT year next year and hope to get a few more years teaching in the UK and in a few years time teach in the USA, probably in middle school.

How realistic is it that I'd get a job teaching over there with non-American qualifications or would I have to do further study over there?
