Moedern Warfare 2 Map pack

Anyone know what the story is with the new map pack? Game updated and said new maps were available, but checked the online store and was doing a private match and the option for bonus maps was greyed out. Was the update premature?

Maps came out yesterday for North America.....the rest of us are still waiting on the PS store to update...could be around 4/5pm today, then the maps should be available.

Is it actually worth the purchase price? There seems to be a lot of mixed opinions over on the Call of Duty forum.

The "hardcore" MW2 audience always find some way to justify paying 15 euro for it ie. "You'll get hours of enjoyment out of it as oppossed to 3 hours for 5 euro Mass Effect 2 DLC"

is it only one down load for this my mate has me downloading 7 and i only coped it that its a certain coded game can use certain ones so im rite in saying its only the one that gets u the 5 maps yea?

i'd say so potsy.. can't say for sure as i am waitin til theyre selling 2-3 map packs as one, for the same price. to justify it some

As far as I'm concerned, this is not worth 25% of the purchase price of a new game (or even the price of Modern Warfare 2) for 3 new maps and 2 rejigs. Someone who downloaded it said it was only a couple of hundred megabytes (in other words, most of the data was already on the game disc).

I was a huge MW2 fan, and got bored of it after various things (including getting killed within 5 seconds on quite a few Hardcore S&D matches because people had learned grenade shots off by heart), but even if I was still into it, €15 is waaaaaaaay too much for a couple of maps.

thats rite its a very low MB for 5 maps was wonder how it was so low so the ****'s actually had them on the disc all ready :mad:

thats messed up if the case, paying €14.99 for an unlock code to 3 new maps you already possess. bad trend emerging in gaming. a lot of people who drop the 'i'm not buying' comments actually end up doing so, which is also tragic.

I think the map pack weighs in at around 300mbs - half the size of the WAW ones.
