News Corp are dreading a non-Tory government. They are determined to break OFCOM and let SKY do its worst. Its James rather than Rupert who we should be thinking about these days as an aside.

Ex Sun editor David Yelland wrote this article for the Guardian, well worth reading.

Excellent piece on the Guardian alright. Raised even more valid points only hope that media outlets like a free Internet will educate the masses to this Murdock onslaught of tripe.

Before he (News Corp) tries to populate the net with his paywall websites and knife in the back the free ones he is up against. He has a long way to go but make no mistake he will have a shot with other corporates and governments he calls allies (eg. The Chinese).

The BBC, in their news coverage, have been just as much of a broadcasting arm/lackey of the establishment for years than any other station (just ask Andrew Gilligan), but in many respects it is value for the taxpayer's money, compared to RTE over here!

It is clear that the Murdochs will be even more venomnous, if they are allowed a bigger grip on the media content across Britain. They only want 'winners' for their agenda, regardless of the party banner they run under!

Cameron serves their purposes for now.

I know the BBC have a large License paying population however they do turn out some class programming, and yes they have faults however they are a fairly free choice (OK license fee applies).

The last year I have the Freesat set-up in the kitchen (BBC1, 2, 3, 4, News, UTV, Channel 4 and use the bbc website for news and both are all you every need if you are not a live sports fan.

Murdock sees this as a big threat to his direct debit fee paying customer base plus he hates the free news /sports service on the internet which is fabulous.

Will the Tory's dismantle these services?

The BBC suffered a severe beating under Labour, and this is doubtless set to continue should the conservatives get in.

And no, you aren't wrong about Murdoch.

Any mention yet on BBC or Sky about the Tory high-flyer that set up a church to help cure people of their demons? Such evil demons as drink, drugs and being gay.

Ah the Tories, they'll never change.

The Observer are in panic mode!

The electorate in Sutton can decide if Stroud should be elected or not!

Surprised it took 2 days for them to pick it up. They managed to splash that moron Labour candidate all over the place as soon as he opened his mouth to bite the hand that feeds him.
