Transporting Gear

Hey just looking for some advise... I'm in a covers band and we have quite a lot of gear to transport drums, amps, bins, tops etc. and we were talking about possible alternatives to bringing our cars all the time. Obviously a van would be ideal but we don't have the money for it. One of the guys mentioned modifying a trailer and bringing the bins in that. I'm worried this will only damage them... any opinions or advise would be appreciated....

Ive used many trailers, its the only way to go.

You have to tie your equipment to the sides/floor of the trailer, so it wont fall over!! ;)
