    I've encountered a wee problem with my 1911. The slide doesn't appear to be cycling properly, every couple of rounds it either doesn't cycle back fully, leaving the hammer only half-cocked, or it does cycle fully but doesn't "chamber" a BB, so the gun dry-fires when I pull the trigger.

    Any suggestions are appreciated!

    It's not a major concern, it doesn't happen all the time or anything but if I do get around to skirmishing I'd rather not have to worry about stuff like that :p

    Get this with mine every so often as well. You need to oil it up a little - put a bit of silicon spray on the points of contact between the slide and the frame. That should sort it.
