    I think it has a usb port on the right side of the picture. Would then charge it, assuming you have your own synch cable.

    has to have the usb port anyway, as it shows a mini-usb to usb cable, which would have the mini end going to device to be charged, usb end to plug.
    Not a great pic/description by lidl though!

    What makes you say that? Looks to me like it will (with the correct cable).

    edit: For 4 euro I'm gonna buy one at lunchtime. I'll report back.

    How won't it. Just plug in the apple sync cable instead of the black one in the pic

    do please, i left my apple wall plug in a hotel bedroom a few months back, can only charge now with my dock :mad:
    for 4 bucks ya cant go wrong if it works !!

    Pick up 2 of these in Lidl Coolock just there (The had a load of them, maybe 15-20). Works perfectly. Its exactly like the Apple wall charger and for €4! Thanks for the heads up!

    I bought something very like this on amazon for 6euro Inc. delivery a while ago. It works perfectly with iPod touch 2G so probably will be ok with other apple devices too. Can't find a link unfortunately.

    I went to the one on Thomas street at lunch and they didn't have any in stock. :(
