owner driver/courier work

    Hi folks need some advice on starting as a owner driver i.e transit van type.
    i was working for a same day courier co for two years but due to recession i was let go in march.
    would like to do sameday deliveries or multi drop i worked for gls 5 or 6 yrs back but i left on bad terms. does anyone know of transport companies that are looking for owner drivers?
    any advice please would be greatly appreciated.

    Fastway couriers do franchises that you can buy if there's one available in your area......

    Thanx for the tip, but id rather work for various companies and i wouldnt buy into a franchise even if i had the ridiculous amount of money they look for.
