    Hey guys,
I have a problem with my Glock. The slide is locked onto the frame. When I try to rack the slide back it comes about a 1/4 inch. When I try to take the slide off by pulling down the two little switches and sliding the slide forward, it goes about a 1/2 inch and won't go any further. This happened when all the gas vented out the top of the mag while firing. Don't know how that happened, it was just after firing a shot and while the slide was going forward to the normal position and all the gas vented and the slide locked.
    Hope that makes sense
    Any help appreciated
    Cheers

If you catch the return spring guide and pull it out fully compressing the spring, slide the slide off as normal.

If that dont work, give the front of the barrel a whack while trying to cock it all the way, the barrel should come back a couple of mm and drop down slighly, allowing the slide over it. once you get it to cock all the way back it should come off the front no probs. :)

Cheers Thermo, it worked. That was pretty easy, I feel like an awful eejit now.
