Hi, I'm new here and I'm looking for people which play Farmville, too.
Not only because I'm always searching for new neighbors, but also because I love to change some tips.
I've started to play a few weeks ago, I'm at level 19 now. :)

Sorry for the late answer, I didn't have time to visit the forum in the last days!
Please send me a PM as you can't find me if you're not a friend of one of my friends. When I've got the link of your profile I'll add you! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

Thank you, I've seen you PM and I've added you!

    Hi Cookie,
    nice to meet you here!
I need a PM from you because you can't find me in Facebook (if you're not a friend of Thanos in Facebook because only friends of my friends can find me).
But I also have another question. Has anybody here already paid with real money for buying Farm Cash? And with which method?
Thanks in forward for your answers and I hope to meet more neighbours :)

    Hey sheepover! (cool nick ;D)

yeah, I've started playing again some days ago since my friend urged me to .. it's quite fun, but taking up so much time ... urgh.
Anyways ... I'll PM you about becoming neighbours :)

And yeah, I've bough some FV cash with real money ... not much, though.
I get presented with paysafecards on a regular basis and I used some of those on FB games, also Farmville.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

Thank you, you also have a cool nick! :D
About Farmville you have to know that there are different types of seeds: you can also use someones that need a few days till you can harvest them.
And thank you for the info with the Paysafecard, if you use a voucher with 10 euro how much Farmcash do you get?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 207 ✭✭kickarykee

Yeah, sure, but then you receive animals and trees through gifts and everything and end up being able to harvest stuff every few minutes ... I get distracted from work really easy ;D

Last time I bought something it was about 8 Euro (it's 10 Dollars, depends on the current exchange rate, I guess) for 55 FV cash, so it's not that much.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

Yes, you're right! 8 euro isn't very much for 55 FV.
Tomorrow I'll fly to Madrid and I'm really happy about it, but I know that I'll miss Farmville. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 207 ✭✭kickarykee

Hehe, well I could swap places with you if you'd rather stay and play :P

You'll not believe it, I found a hostel in Madrid which has also wifi and I could play Farmville before sleeping. So I was able to feed my terrier every day! :D

I'm getting bit fed up of farmville now.. been playing it for about 10months now - i'm around level 43.. No fun in it anymore

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 207 ✭✭kickarykee

Yeah ... I understand that. Somehow all online games tend to get boring after a while but fortunately there are so many that you can always switch to playing a new one ;D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

    Yes, I understand it, too!
The same thing happened with me in Happy Aquarium and also in Happy Island because you have to wait such a long time for reaching the next level.
But it's also a pity when you think about the time that you've spend with those games!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 208 ✭✭ThunderApple

I play Farmville too but I've never paid for it. I probably would but I don't know if the game gets more interesting if you invest real money in it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

Well, in my case I love Italy and there are now these Tuscan items. I've for example bought the fences because I could pay it 1000 coins for one fence (and that's a good price, I think), but the other items like the houses... hm... not. Not till now obviously... :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 208 ✭✭ThunderApple

It feels like it makes sense if you have a certain concept for arranging and designing your farm. I don't have any concept till now but as soon as I do, I know what to do ((((((=

I like playing these games too, but as you already said, it´s fun for a while but after a few weeks it becomes a bit boring! But while it´s fun I play nearly every day, and I want to reach high levels in a short time, because I don´t want to wait for such a long time! But I did not use real money, what is it good for?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 208 ✭✭ThunderApple

There are some special options and features in those games, there is no other way to get them till you pay real money. A friend of mine is a fan of Pet Society, for example, and she buys some extra things for her pet. Because it's cute and makes her happy. And it's okay so.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

@ ThunderApple: I also didn't have a concept for arranging and designing my farm, till Sunday. On Sunday evening I've bought the Tuscan fences and I've put the animals in the preserves and I've arranged my trees and so on. Now it looks good I think. :)
@ coraline: I have the same problem. In Pet Society I've played and played till level 25, but now I don't have a lot of free time and the waiting for reaching a new level becomes boring. When you pay with real money you can buy a lot of special items like houses (in Farmville) and ingredients (in Restaurant City).

No, its just a rando thing. There is a small chance each time you harvest of getting some but it is small. Just keep trying and if you hen house is full get a few more hens around it also.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

I've received a lot of eggs as a free gift today, so I imagine that you'll get some eggs as free gifts, too.
I've already collected 15 favors and I've bought the wedding cake. :)
The only thing that I can't understand is the fact that the wedding cake is bigger than the wedding tent. :D

    What is this?
I play Mafia Wars, would it work for that as well?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

Well I don't play with Mafia Wars, but Farmcash is the payment method in Farmville that you get with real money or for every level that you reach.
There are some items that you can't buy with the normal coins, you've to have enough Farmcash and I have only 13 and that's a problem.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 402 ✭✭Tommyrawr

    Cookie,
If you remove one hen from your henhouse you are guaranteed to get eggs every day from that hen for your wedding tent:D

ok, so Farmcash is the "fake" money in farmville?
And your problem is you need more "fake" money to purchase items?
Are there any options to buy (with "real" money) the "fake" money?

@ zippygirl: yes, you can buy some "fake" cash with real cash. 25 FV cost more or less 4 euro. You can buy with the mobile phone, with credit cards and also with prepaid vouchers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 42 Turquoise1

Have been playing Farmville myself for the last six months and am now level 39. It can get boring after a while though, I agree.

I don't know if I would buy Farmville Cash for stuff, but 8 euro doesn't seem too bad at all.

Sheeplover, you mentioned "prepaid vouchers", I am curious what that is. Is that the same as 3V vouchers?

    What is the prepaid voucher?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

You don't know what I mean with a prepaid voucher, oops, that's a problem. ;)
For me prepaid vouchers are the nice things like the Itunes cards, with the difference that you can other things, too.
The prepaid voucher that I usually use is the Paysafecard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 115 ✭✭zippygirl

    AH OK!
I have used the itunes card before but what is the paysafecard?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

It's a prepaid voucher (or card) that you can use for buying with real money in online games (not also in Farmville, but also in World of Warcraft) and so on or in Skype.
The prices are similar to the ones of the iTunes cards: 10 euro, 25 euro, 50 euro and 100 euro.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 115 ✭✭zippygirl

    paypoint outlets?
    what does that mean?
and why would i use this card over paypal!?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 49 sheeplover

You don't know PayPoint? It's a network where you can make convenient local payments of household bills and mobile top-ups.
I have a Paypoint in my supermarket :)

    Hello,

I was just looking for some tips also. I am on level 22.

. If you would like more XP , simply get it by buying the plain simple hay bales. The cost 100 coin and for 1 hay bale you get 5 XP .

Hope you enjoy playing this game

Nice to have fellow Farmvillers around. I started playing this game when it started out, graduated onto it from Farm Town. Farm Town got boring after I'd reached the highest level that was available at the time, most of my friends seemed to prefer Farm Ville so that's the one I play now. I never spend real cash on farm cash though, and I'm intent that I never will. I'm level 68! I'm a bit sad ;) I redesign my farm about once a fortnight too, can never be happy with it!

    Hello there! :D

Why so? I do plan to, just I'm not sure how right now. There's a lot of nice stuff you can get with cash  like in every game

That's the thing with FB games... You can never be fully happy... Like in life, there's no ending, you can only progress, or resign. :pac::)

Slippery slope for me! I get some things with the farm cash I saved up by levelling up, but I really intend never to spend any money on it - I really can't afford it, and if I do it once I'd be afraid I'd do it again!

Yeah... I know how that's like. But I sometimes feel like spending some real money on this. For 8 euros you get 55 cash and I really think about trying. There's some stuff on the market that really got my attention.
Whether I'll do it again, or not... well... that depends mostly on the personality. But if I'm not happy with it, I surely won't.
