Quick question re PGDE interview

    Hi there,

    Can anyone tell me if there is an interview for the NUIG PGDE? I know there's an interview for some of the other PGDE courses, but unsure of Galway!

    Planning on applying for NUIG in September 2011 and would like to know in case I want to go abroad in the interim.

    There are interviews for TCD and DCU PGDEs but UCD, UCC, Maynooth and NUIG operate on a results/qualifications points system administered by the PAC (www.pac.ie). Time was when teaching experience was considered for points for those NUI colleges but that has come to an end now I believe.

    Thanks, I thought that was the case but I wanted to double check. Kicking myself for not applying for this September!

    Have a degree + Masters so hopeful of getting a place in 2011!
