Occasionally I put up polls in my various threads and I need to update them. Is there anyway to do that or who do i talk to about it?

Forum mods can edit polls. Of course if a new option is added, members who have previously voted can't change their vote.

AFAIR, mods can edit polls.

You could ask a forum mod (nicely, of course) to do it for you.
