    EDIT:

TBH My initial post could probably be considered as seeking LA, so I'll summate:

In general, personally non-applicable terms, how would one go about compelling a public body (a third level educational institution) to release all raw form information via respective Freedom of Information legislation? Also; What is the likelihood of this route being successful/a non drawn-out process?

I've researched the process a bit: http://www.oic.gov.ie/en/MakeanFOIRequest/RecordsheldbyaPublicBody/ - But I was more hoping to hear from someone who is familiar with the process.

    Thanks

    B

You are entitled to all the raw data including emails with your name in them under the freedom of information act. You can make a request and should receive all the data within 40 days. Also you can request confirmation of having any such data within 14 days.

This is the most definetly the most effective and fastest way to get the information, They can withold certain parts of the information and ideally they must provide the data but can cover over parts that they are entitled to keep private. You can make a complaint to the Freedom information people and also get advice about what your are entitled ( which is alot ) and what your not.
