    Do not buy a cheap lock from Lidl unless you have a rust-bucket of a bike that isn't going to be stolen even if it wasn't locked

    No, the lock does look cheap and innefective, wouldn't get that, but i might pick up the computer, gloves, glasses, bottle and tool bag. Cant really go far wrong.

    computer contacts don't like Irish rain , they corrode very quickly

    I've used one of those locks on my hack bike.
    But it was hidden behind a B&B on the Arran Islands.
    But wouldn't trust it on Inish Mor or during a bank holiday weekend.

    The compression underwear is pretty good. I bought a set a few months back. Very comfortable, I can't tell the difference between it and UnderArmour stuff.
