The Greeks are kicking off, the Frenchies would down tools at the drop of a hat.

"us guys" in the other hand seem to take everything in our stride.

What would really be the final straw for you?

So you think the Greek population is right to riot against reforms which are needed to save the country from absolute disaster?

It's standard procedure in some countries, that when the country's been almost destroyed, it has to then be completely destroyed by gangs of suicidal "foot shooters". It's always best to clear the air and make the situation a hundred times worse than it was to start with.:o

What good would civil unrest do? It'd just be an extra stress on everything.

Letting your leaders know that you mean business and you are seriously pissed. They may be thinking "sure they don't mind, lets keep on screwing them over"...

Surely there's a less awkward way to do that than verging on rioting?

You think the government are "screwing" the Greek population over? They're screwing themselves fine without the government's help.

I've had my final straw, but how good would a one man riot look in front of the Dáil when Ursula Hannigan is trying to do her spot on TV3.

There sure is, but I don't think that has worked too much in recent times. People just get very angry and express their outrage by taking to the streets. There's riots and targeting actual targets and then there's wreckless hooligans destroying everything. Which is completely pointless.
