no point in using a dyno to rate your Hp imo, use it as a tool when modifying your car.Time and time again ive seen cars with supposedly lower hp beating supposedly higher hp car, real world is a different story and each dyno will give different results, hence stick to the one dyno.

Anyone have any dyno clips of their car??

Of course there is a point in using a Dyno to rate your BHP you find a reliable one and roll it as stock and then keep with the same Dyno as you modify,of course there are instances of lower HP cars beating higher HP cars, real world is all about power to weight ratios - the dyno doesn't measure that.

No pics of my car on the Dyno, have a video somewhere but its not worth posting its only 2 minutes or so of screaming, camera wasn't good enough. :D

thats what i meant when i said use it as a tool when modifying, i meant no point really in just getting you r car dyno`d just to tell people your HP. i under stand how big power to weight is in a race but im talking about 2 of the same cars both measured on different dynos, people expecting because their dyno result was higher that it will translate to the real world.

Since its now my thread suppose ill have to contribute to it :D

    flywheel was 182bhp
    torque was 111ftlb (I think)

Not to worry, those figures seem good as they're only 18something standard aren't they?

Are you going for a Z now then? ;)

187bhp standard so she's still fairly healthy after 11 years and 120k miles :D

Nah I cant justify the Z at the minute, I cant afford or even justify the tax bill at the minute and given a few more years they'll probably be a lot cheaper than they are now.

The GT pack is a minimum for me and this pushes them outside my budget too and I think they need some nismo cosmetic bits to look finished off too.

I'm afraid its gonna have to be something a bit more sensible for me
