Divert Landline to Mobile - Unmanned office

    Hi,

Have an office setup with the following:

2 lines in hunt group connected to a small PBX (with 4 handsets), this takes inbound calls for the 059 area number that's on all company letterheads etc.
4 Cisco 7940 handsets with SPA 9000 voip PBX (for outgoing calls)
Blueface 2 lines for outgoing calls.

We have a receptionist that unfortunately due to the economic conditions will not be able to continue with. Therefore the office will not always be manned, so I need to be able to answer calls that come into the 059 number, particularly when I'm not in the office. I don't like relying on a voicemail system as a lot of people will not leave a message and just hang up.

Whats the easiest way to get the 059 eircom number to be available all the time?

I'm guesing just put a divert to 087 on it and swallow the cost of the diverts.

But, is there any way I can differentiate between calls that are direct to the mobile and ones that are diverted from the landline (so I can answer the call as if it was the office - i.e. "Hello (company name)")

Can I integrate the VOIP system to have more flexibility? Maybe eliminate the two eircom phone lines altogether and port the number to blueface? I may need a cisco SPA 400 for this but I think its only a few hundred euro.

Would also be nice if its a simple proces to remove the divert so that when i'min the office calls come in on the desk phone rather than the mobile via the divert.

    Any suggestions?

Talk to Blueface thet are very helpful and may have a package that suits. On Blueface you certainly can divert calls if not answered within a specified time or if the line is busy.

I did that this morning, and it appears they have a setting whereby the deskphone (if via blueface) can ring simultaneously with the mobile - and you're billed accordingly depending on which you answer. So if I'm in the office I can answer the blueface cisco phone, and if out can answer the mobile.

Now I have to port the eircom line over.
