    Hi im currently on unemployment assistance. my partner is from brazil and my son was born there in feb. they live in my rented apt with me.
    my fiance is also unemployed, can we recieve any benefits as a family as i only get 196euro per week which were struggling to live on.
    any help would be greatly appreciated.

    If you speak portugese, consider moving to Brazil with her and work there.
    There are actually a lot of jobs going right now in the major cities.

    Better to work somewhere for a moderate amount and live on that than to have others paying your way.

    hi i dont speak good portugese and like thousands of others ive lost my job through no fault of my own, ive paid enough tax in my life in my country not too feel like im sponging from the state. im genuinely in need of help. ive seen over the years all nationalities come to my country and use every trick in the book to get benefits now me and my family our in need of help and i dont feel one bit guilty about asking for assistance.
