Its nearly upon us again so anyone think thee will be a european winner?
Heres my analysis of the possible challengers:
England: To lose on penalties in 1/4 or semi-final, heroic failure is burnt into the english psyche. I do expect England to play very well for 90 or 120 minutes in each game.
Spain: Tournament favourites but like England have a psychological barrier that i dont think they have broken just yet. Potentially finallists but not winners.
France & Italy: Too many older players, wont do well esecially in the heat.
Holland: If only they could stop fighting each other, sem-final tops.
Portugal: Seem to lack any real ambition, maybe 1/4 final at best.
Germany: My bet for the best european performance, had a young team in 2006 that will mature in 2010. Might not win it but the final is a ralistic target.

In reality it will be a south american winner most likely Brazil but with Argentina a real possibility.
