I need to buy a good digital camera in the next day - nearest city is limerick. Nothing too expensive - have no idea what to get.
    Any suggestions please?
    Thanks

You can't go too far wrong as quality is so good now. For what it's worth, I've had the limux for 2 years now - great snapper.

I hav had several digital cameras over the years - Minolta (good), Sony (very good), Fuji (ok), Nikon (terrible). Of course it all depends on the model. Now I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ6 which has a 12x optical zoom. The best digital camera I have had. More up to date versions are available. I got mine in Argos.

+1 for the Panasonic Lumix range. I've had a TZ5 for over a year now and it's a great little camera - even though I've never had time to read most of the instruction book!

Would suggest you do a bit of online research - try www.dpreview.com (off the top of my head, but there are lots of other sites). It's worth doing a quick read-up, as only you know what you want from a camera.
