I took Voluntary Severance in 2005 from a semi state company and took up employment in Public Sector.....happy dayz..

However a job has now come up in my old employer that I would love and am certainly educated and experienced enough for..in fact it's ideal...

Can the fact I took VS 5 years ago be a factor in my reapplying? This firm has a question on its standard job app form asking whether you have ever taken voluntary severance from them and if so when..........whats all that about??
    Anyone?

presumably because if it was voluntary you might have to pay it back in whole or in part brfore you can be re employed

You don't have to pay it back... but they may make it a condition of employment (highly unlikely).

    Good luck!
