    Hey Guys!

Im a complete newbie looking to give triathalon a go. Im currently in training. Just a few questions if you please

Whats a good beginner triathalon/marathon to start with?

If I were to take part in the triathalon would I have to buy all necessary equipment like bike, wet suits etc?

If so wheres a good place to purchase these on the cheap?

Where can I find a list of all up and coming events and how do I register?

Im looking to get very involved over the summer, Any help would be much appreciated...

    Thanks so much...

TriAthlone would be a perfect one to start off with. Do the Sprint. Its European Championships this year so there will be a great buzz about the event.

Triathlonireland website should have a list of all events.

You can rent a wetsuit, and you dont need a racer bike (although most people seem to have one, I was an exception).
