Any idea for a fun evening date in Dublin?

Any ideas for a fun date mid-week evening time?

Something a bit different to the usual Dinner, Cinema, Drinks type thing.

The weather is so unpredictable that planning an outdoor date can be a bit risky.

What is there good to do in this city? There has to be something!

There are a few good lesser known bars around Dublin which are nice for a different night out. The Front Lounge on Parliament St and The Dragon Bar on Camden St are fun spots if your looking for something different.

    :o

they are both gay bars, just so the op knows and the dragon is on georges street.

op, go to howth, even if the weather is a bit cloudy or showery you could walk along the pier and then settle down for a pint in the bloody stream before getting the dart back to the city

Camden St, Georges St, all the same!

I thought the op was looking for a different experience from the usual boring Dublin Bar.

A walk in Howth is a great idea too :pac:

Comedy. There's usually something on somewhere. International, Hapenny Inn, cheap & midweek although usually in a bar alright.

I love the zoo :) But bowling anywhere in Dublin is usually full of little undesirables which can tend to ruin the experience - grand with a few couples or a group of friends, but not really what I'd chose for a 'date'.

The Ghost Bus or Rock Bus tours are both great, and aren't that expensive (€25~ iirc).

There's also the relocated wax museum just off College Green, or catching a play is always good :)

Go drinking in a pub. Wacky dates are a load of balls.
