Sticky analog stick

    Ive only got one controller and i don't really have the readys to buy a new controller bassically the left analog sticks in place's. and i always find my self creeping forward in games...

    Im just wondering has any one ever had this problem and how did you deal with it ?

    I really cant afford a new controller well i can but would rather a new game insted :)

    any ideas?

    Maybe try clean it with some alcohol and a cotton bud, don't use water obviously.

    If you're talking ps3 pads, its a known issue with the sixaxis and its not repairable as the analog component is soldered directly to the board.

    Live with it till you can afford a new one.
    Or if your console is still under warrantee, you can have sony replace it.

    EDit: As said above, its possible its just dirt fouling the sticks motion, but if your dead zone (the amount of free play before the stick returns to its stationary position) is expanding, your pads likely had it.

    theres few issues with my controller its a cleer one so thre a lot of gunk spilled on it and so asuming something was spilled on it... :( so i may just risk a opulling appart and have a cleen of it...

    I had the problem aswell before and my solution was to pull at the analogue so it clicks out a small bit, clean any dust I can see and rotate the stick a few times. I had to do it every day but it worked anyway

    Hey lads, I spilled some coke on my dualshock pad. It seems to only have affecting the X button (most friggin used!!) and it doesn't click down properly. It still works but feels very weird. Is there any way to clean or fix this ?
