The Roost has a games room off the bar. I've never been in it but I'm 95% sure there's a pool table.

Yes there's 2 pool tables in the Roost. I think the Newtown might have a few too? There's a snooker club in NUIM.

Ive been playing snooker myself for about 10 years. Im in my late 20s, I enjoy the game. However i live in the Saggart Co Dublin area and there are a few people playing. So im looking for someone who will play me once or twice a week or every forthnight. Please send me a pm if interested

Roost ones are gone, should anyone assume this thread wasn't necro-bounced.

If you have a car, drive down the road to the Celbridge Snooker Club and ask in there. AFAIK, they have regular games there (have seen notices of events), and most likely will have smaller events. It's a very nice venue, ample parking, and has several (14 or more?) snooker tables (and a 3 or 4 pool tables in a another room). When it's packed, the only thing you'll hear is a very low chat, and the click of the cue ball hitting a red :D Weekdays it usually closes at sometime between 11 and midnight (if it's dead at 11 they close up), but at the weekends it's can sometimes be open until 2am.

No connection to the place, other than it's where I play snooker.

    Contact info:
