Sounds that drive you mad

Some sounds...like the knife on the plate or the nails on the blackboard, drive your nerves la-la...but there are other, more mundane sounds that I simply cannot stand:

1. People loudly drinking tea. The loud swallowing slightly more annoying than the slurping.

2. Whispering. No idea why but I absolutely hate the sound of a whisper.

3. That sound in the ad of someone biting into a magnum. I fcuking hate it.

Actually...the alarm clock is a good one. I used to have to wake up to a certain song and I grew to hate that song cause it reminded me of 6:30am

The sound of people rubbing along carpet (get your mind out of the gutter). I hate it when people sit down and rub their feet along the carpet or even some material of clothing if people rub it with their hands. Makes my teeth itch. No idea why, just really gets to me.

When in fifth & sixth year I used to wake up to The Call of Kthulu every morning. Never got sick of it tbh.

+1. Probably my most hated sound.

The sound markers make when they're starting to run out and someone insists on using them to the very last squeak.

When a bus is going passed you slowly in traffic, and it suddenly makes that abrupt "PPPPSSSSSSCHHHHH" sound, that frightens the sh1te out of me, really p1sses me off

Ya that's the one!! Gosh it freaks me out so much!!! That noise and there's this one my dog does when I'm walking her and she's really excited. All those random, irritating noises you hear on the radio, like the presenters shuffling pages around and scribbling, presenters breathing very heavily into the microphone or people licking their lips! Fills me with rage.

ugh I cannot live with a bunch of girls, it's a little above my frequency threshold :pac: and no I don't find it hilarious that you're all breaking out in song together.

One of my housemates makes the most godawful sound every morning in the bathroom, sounds like she's trying to bring phlegm up from her toes or a very very angry crow cawing.
