    Hi,
Emma will be 3 in June. She was out of pullups for about 5 months, didn't wet the bed.
We have a new 4 week old son.
Emma gets on great with him- hugs, kisses etc.No sign of jealousy
But past 2 days in creche she's wet herself and wet the bed last night.
Is this a regression thing? What's best plan?
    Cheers,
    pa.

My 3 yr old goes back to wetting the bed whenever she's not feeling herself, it's mist likely a bit of jealousy over the new arrival, it's a big change for her so just give her some extra special attention.

We had the same when our new baby arrived along. We emphasised how she was a big girl and that big girls used the toilet instead of needing a nappy. Great enthusiasm when she used the toilet too. Worked out after a bit. It's a big change for them to accept a new person into the house.

Ask her if she feels the pee coming. Sometimes they cannot help it and feel bad when it does happen. My little one has done this for reasons that she had no control over i.e. in her case it was minor kidney infections which occured from time to time.

my eldset started wetting the bad when we moved house years ago she was about 3 aswell.. i think it's just an adjustment and attention thing.. we just made a big deal of her when she used the toilet and didn't really make a big deal of the wetting ..;)

Yep second that, not making a big deal about it is good advice. My little one did this a number of times even after being 'grown up' enough to not do so. She just got a hug and re-assurance that it was ok because it was an accident.
