Shorty Wetsuits in Lidl

I bought one last Summer as I needed a wetsuit at short notice for my first tri. It was fine in that it ticks the box when a wetsuit is compulsory and it kind of (ish) keeps you warm (not really).

I have since replaced it with a nice new Sailfish one. In hindsight, the shorty wetsuit does not give you the added bouyancy in the legs which is one of the main advantages for open water swimming that comes with a full suit.

In short, its perfect for venturing into triathlon if you are not sure whether you want to commit long term and make a larger investment. Even if you only use it for one triathlon, sure its only 30 quid... you cant really go wrong.
