    Hi All

I was wondering if anyone has a guide or have experience of changing the AUTO gearbox oil in a Freelander similar to a 2003 TD4.

Would I need a Landrover mechanic or would an indy do the job ?

Also what are the intervals it should be done ?

    Thanks

If it's the same as the Rover 75 CDT, which it probably is, you need to do it every 90k miles. The gearbox needs to be run to a certain temperature, and then have the oil changed. It'll need to be done by someone who has access to a Rover T4 testbook, or a Launch unit to read the auto box temp.
