Going more than two days is pretty damn hard...
I use the interwebs for everything and we don't have a TV in my house.

It's like quitting smoking tho,
Once your off it a week it isn't so bad without it.

agree with waz, the first few days are antsy.. After that.. Meh couldnt much care. You finally get online and there is nothing worth looking at. The usual blogs/fora/sites are somehow only very interesting if you check them a lot

I couldn't do without it for purposes likeporn, paying bills, home business, etc. I don't play games online or moderate anymore or use it for much else.

Id say 2 weeks, generally when im away on a 2 week holiday I dont miss it, Isuppose at home its a different situation.

Id say 2 days at home before I crack up.

I am currently addicted to the internet thanks to feicing college. I shall blame them
During the summer time though my access will be.....well I simply won't have any access so it shall be cold turkey for me. With the rare odd trip to an internet cafe to update folks I am still alive :pac:

I said 3 weeks, so when my pay goes in the bank I can transfer money to my credit card or check balances. If I wasn't in work and I had something to keep me busy, like travelling, then I wouldn't need it at all, but i'd probably check email and the use it for hostel bookings etc... Actually now that I think about it, it's pretty much ingrained in my life and although I could go without using it for recreational purposes I don't think I'd want to live without it at all.

Top Tip: If you put the "Pax Christi Stephen is less than 3" in your Signature then it would save you having to type it each time you have a new post?!?!?!?!

I don't really agree with the piss taking of your beliefs. I'm an athiest, you're a believer... neither side can prove that we are right, so I wouldn't even bother arguing about it, but I am also a liberal in this sense & believe that everyone is free to believe in whatever the hell they want.

However, homosexuality is not a belief, in fairness.

I'm not attacking the gays, simply pointing out a truth, I could use any belief I wanted to to stress my point, that was just one of them.

Boards is supposed to be a reflection of society and I firmly believe it is. I don't post in the Christian forum because I don't believe in that faith, I have nothing against it I just don't believe in it.

Boards is supposed to be a reflection of society and I firmly believe it is. I don't post in the Christian forum because I don't believe in that faith, I have nothing against it I just don't believe in it.

I post here because I'm part of that multidenominational society who has a variety of beliefs and have just as much a right to post here as anyone else. you are welcome to post in Christianity forums, but it deals only with Christianity, Ah deals with everyone of every belief

That would suggest that anyone with christian beliefs are not a true reflection of our society. The fact that you choose not to post in the Christian forum is your choice, but doesn't mean that Christians cannot post their opinions here either, be they religious posts or not.

As for the Pax Christi sig - big deal - you don't like it, but I don't like seeing Chelsea sigs in the soccer forum either.

You have a point, however the point I was trying to make is that in real life you can avoid all this Pax Christi and Jesus saviour crap but it's tricky to do it when it's brought onto every thread by certain posters.

But two can play that game.

How can I avoid it and why should I avoid it? I am who I am, you are who you are. the same could be said for every other person on this forum who have the sigs they have.
