My management agent has got Sky to install a communal dish on my apartment block. I have Sky+HD. At the moment my dish is hidden and not viewable from the ground so not sure if Sky will be able to see my dish. If I opt to use the communal dish is there any drawbacks using it when I have Sky+HD? i.e poorer picture quality etc...?

Basically what I'm saying is there any difference between a normal dish that supplies Sky for 1 property and a communal dish that a few properties can feed off?

No difference for the end user as long as you have two feeds
