    Hi All,
I was made redundant at the end of 2008. I started receiving JSB in janurary 2009, at the time I qualified for 12 months JSB. I started college in the middle september 2009 so I had claimed roughly 9months JSB. Ive been getting BTEA since. The academic year will finish in the middle of june and I will be finished college for good then (was only a 1 year course). Its looking like there wont be a job for me when Im finished so I will need to sign back on. What Im wanting to know is what will I be claiming? Will it be JSB or JSA? I thought maybe I would go back onto JSB as I would still have about 3 months remaining from the first claim but Im not sure. We have savings so if its JSA it will make a big difference to us.
Just trying to get a rough idea before I approach the social welfare. Do I need to wait until I cease getting BTEA before I go to the social welfare.

    Thanks for any help.

You should still have 3 months left on your JSB. You need to go into social welfare as soon as your course is finished and you will have to make a repeat claim.
