Just looking for advice/ opinions. We have two 02 Mondeos at home both 1.8 petrol one is a slightly higher spec with 126k on the clock and the other (the wifes) 60k on the clock. Would it be better to sell both privately or look to trade in both against one car?
We are looking to buy an 06 one litre maybe 7000-8000.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

    Sell privately, if you can.

Private sale, no dealer wants to take them in part exchange for an €8000 motor so they'll offer you peanuts. Perhaps trade in the higher mile one as you may struggle to flog that one, you'll probably struggle to flog the other one too though :(

Depends, If they have tax/fsh/nct you may get good value if selling privately (especially the one with 60k miles, thats shockingly low on a car that age and size) and you may get roughly 2.5-3k for each.

On the other hand, a dealer never gives a good value on a trade in, even less so if you are trading in two cars.
