This amazing video by Spacecraft Films shows the July 16, 1969 launch of the Apollo 11 mission that landed the first humans on the moon. The camera was rolling at a whopping 500 frames per second, allowing the first 30 seconds of the launch to be slowed down into this 8-minute narrated video of pure awesomeness.

Slow motion makes everything look 100% better than it is. The video of the Apollo launch is amazing.

Not sure if you've seen it, its the Shuttle launch at half speed.

I like this one! The lift-off of Apollo 11 as seen by the World 'as it happened'. Unlike its competitor America/NASA had the{pardon My French}BALLS to show it live!

Thank the stars for those who recorded it for future generations to view,as boardsie's of the Shuttle programme are doing so now!
This would make a lot of people wish they were Older!
