    Depends on the mug of her. I see most attractive women walk around with the face of a bulldog that just licked piss off a nettle, so they're a no go. Doesn't hurt to smile once and a while.

    Wishful thinking on his part perhaps.

    The whole 'they are so intimidatingly beautiful' theory is really not applicable I reckon. Especially in Irish pubs and clubs.

    Short answer to your question - no.

    I'd say the more happy, smiley and approachable you look, the more likely you are to get chatted up and be talked to, regardless of how you look (to an extent).

    I only chat up the good looking ones which is probably why my success rate is so low
    But then again it is likely that they are often intimidated by my good looks so its tricky

    Tis very true - fact is a man can only put so much effort in so when he has to decide between an ugly girl or a looker, and he just wants T-Rex, then he has to weigh up the odds, ugly girl = quick n easy, looker = hard work and may not get anywhere - this is all subconscious of course

    they wouldnt be the least chatted up but they wouldnt be chatted up as much as above average loooking girls. the hottest birds are generally snobby cows, im more likely to go for a girl whos good looking but isnt a supermodel either.

    I think that theory is wrong.

    Good looking women at 30 still single have heard every trick in the book and you only have to try talk to them to realise how fed up they are listening. Having had every schmuck there is and no success. Maybe they pay too much attention to bullshítters....
