But there is something in the back of my auld head telling me to go back to the good auld .22lr. Now im a big fan of both rounds and I know they both have pro`s and con`s. But for some mad reason I dont know why or were it came from im thinking about changing caliber. Am I mad to go back to the .22lr. Answers on a post card to RH77 Unit H The Asylum

Im also thinking about adding one of these as well any thoughts on both, I know one of them is not on the market till next month.

you mental to change i have a short barrel marlin .17 with 12x50 scope and silencer and i would not change it for anything its the most accurate gun i ever own but every man to there own

Gun's are like women,you fancy the one you haven't got, yet they all make the same noise.In fairness the anschutz's can't be beaten I just wish they weren't so expensive.If you've got the money go for it.

Keep the Marlin them spend your cash on a .22 as a second gun and have the best of both worlds.

Smokin Ace I hear you, I love the 17 hmr for its flat accurate shooting.

Marlin vs true true Ha ha ha, waiting on a price on the Anschuetz at the moment, my dealer is having abit of trouble getting a price hope to know more later this week.

I Don`t Know, I have two other firearms at the moment so adding a .22 would make 4 I would be sleeping on the couch for a while if i got a 4th one .

i have had the pleasure of shooting a marlin and a sako quad in .17hmr. and i loved the sako if it was my money would go with the sako......

Hi riflehunter I have that quad in a 17hmr and love it to bits and i can promise you one thing you def wont be disappointed.

One option is maybe the quad with two barrels and the quad scope I am seriously thinking about doing this but not for a while yet the current finances are been put towards a new shotgun.

Cheers for the update moose it might be an option alright getting the quad and adding the second barrel. Will have to think about it over the next few day and see what price the Ani comes in at.
